Zelon Harrison is a West County parent, education justice leader, and policy author running for the West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD) School Board in Trustee Area 4. She is nationally recognized for her work advancing equity, family engagement, and culturally responsive policies that center systemically disadvantaged students.

As AASAT Chair, DLCAP Executive Board Member, NAACP committee Chair and a trusted community voice, Zelon is committed to building safe, thriving, transparent schools where every child is free to learn in a welcoming environment. Her campaign is rooted in the belief that Freedom Begins in the Classroom, and that both parents and educators deserve strong leadership, accountability, and a school system that listens to our community.
